Wowtao: A personalized pottery-making system

We present Wowtao, an easy-to-use pottery manufacture system to take digital creativity into the real world. Our approach is able create customized virtually on mobile phones or tablet computers interactively and quickly. work takes integration of customer in product personalization consideration support personal design field. Different from other virtual systems, our simulates entire physical process, such as modeling, painting, seals, firing customization, provides ability have designed results fabricated by artists a 3D printer. To make manufacturable artists, imposes some industrial constraints (both geometry decorations) when user designs his/her personalized potteries. method only requires simple intuitive interactions, so even novices can follow workflow pretty potteries easily. optimize process perform real-time operations. informal study shows that first-time typically masters operations within 10 minutes, construct interesting satisfactory models minutes.
